The map draws the full river. This route covers a section of it; the description says which.
Du Bic is a premier sea kayaking destination within Parc National du Bic, offering challenging whitewater with 15 rapids ranging from Class II to III in difficulty. This coastal route provides spectacular views of the Saint Lawrence estuary where fresh and salt water meet, with opportunities to see blue herons, seals, and dramatic granite cliffs. The sheltered islands provide refuge even in strong winds, making it accessible for skilled intermediate paddlers. Best experienced during summer months when guided tours and equipment rentals are readily available.
This route's document cites a hydrometric station. The links below open the operating agency's current reading.
The gauge is on Neigette, Petite rivière, not the river you are paddling. The document cites it anyway: "Centre d'Expertise Hydrique du Québec - station de mesure de débit l'Immaculée (021916) sur la Petite rivière Neigette"
The document describes 15. The map shows 7, because it only places rapids a national survey publishes a coordinate for. The two counts measure different things.

This table publishes no position for any rapid. Where a surveyor's note mentions a kilometre, those are their words quoted as written, and the figure was read off a scanned map: use it to follow their description, not to navigate. Most of these surveys were written in French.
